Spring Bank West widening
Spring Bank West is being widened to put in a bus lane to town on the north (cemetery) side.
On the south side a number of parking bays will be built to accommodate residents' cars, something they have been after for some while.
The bus lane will necessitate taking down a number (16?) of mature trees. The Council claims a number of these were in poor condition. It is Council policy to replace each felled tree with two others.
