	Royal Mail plans to axe a huge number (2500) of post offices across the country. Five in the Hull area up for closure are:- Spring Bank, Princes Avenue, 504 Beverley Road, Hawthorn Avenue and Hedon Road. Eight are for the chop across East Yorkshire: Grovehill Road in Beverley, Skidby, Kirk Ella, North Newbald, Welton, Mappleton, Lockington, and Hollym. PETITION - for the five Hull Post Offices, Downing Street website. PETITION - for Beverley, Grovehill Road Post Office, Downing Street website. Post Office Consultation ended on 12th Nov. The decision by Government earlier this year shows people should be cynical of this. We underline that it is a Labour government leading this decimation of an important local service.
