Martin Deane, Hull Green Party, writes: In 2004 Christopher Bryson, a
former BBC producer, made the Fluoride
Deception (free on the net). Bryson says "Fluoride science is
industry science. It's tobacco science!" - It is good for the
industry not for people. Fluoridating water is supposedly
"medicating" people without their permission. The European
Convention on Human Rights
and Biomedicine distinctly states that individuals have the right not to
be medicated without their consent. Alan Johnson, MP, MAY only know
about the supposed dental benefits. He may not know that its consumption
has been linked to a range of medical afflictions including severe
skeletal problems, fluorosis (discoloration of teeth), osteosarcoma (rare
bone cancer) in boys - and problems affecting the CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM! It does however have benefits to
certain industries - namely the aluminium and the nuclear... Most European countries have managed to reduce levels of tooth decay in recent years, in almost all cases without fluoridation. Martin Deane, Hull and area Green Party |
