We are losing democracy - So let's use it. All of us.
Britain's closeness to America over wars, Afghanistan ,Iraq ,Iran, the renewal of Trident, endless terror scares, CIA rendition, implies we will follow their path to greater totalitarianism: more checks on travellers, detention without charge and without trial. The killing of de Menezes in 2005 was a signal step towards this: many official lies told; the police perpetrator promoted to train others.
Most terror charges come to nothing. Those that do aren't worth the legislation. Blair and his successors will pursue ID cards, not for them but to control us.
